Get help Support for adults Positive Communities Project Women's Aid Leicestershire is part of the Positive Communities Project, which comprises of 12 voluntary organisations working at grassroots level in Leicester to support some of the most vulnerable people in the city, especially those affected by Covid-19. Positive Communities is designed to help you get exactly what you need to help you get you back on your feet again after Covid-19 or other misfortune. This might be as a result of: A loss of self-confidence because you have been isolated for some time; Poor mental health caused by the pandemic, losing your job or financial worries; Involvement in an abusive relationship; An erosion of your vocational skills because you have been out of the job market for some time. Positive Communities has received financial support from the UK Government through the Community Renewal Fund (CRF). Leicester City Council acts as Lead Authority for all CRF projects in the city, managing payments and ensuring projects deliver what they have pledged in their bids.
