The female Family Intervention Refuge Worker works with women, children and young people who are resident in the City refuges. She delivers creative, innovative, accessible and flexible programmes of work and activities through both one to one and group support. The focus of the work is on meeting the needs of the children and young people around their experience of domestic abuse, supporting their mother with any challenging behaviour from the children, supporting the mother with parenting and supporting the every day needs of her children.
