Admin Project Support Worker - 30hrs per week - closing date for applications is 5th June 12pm
The post requires a hands on approach, ensuring that the work of WALL staff, within the Young Women’s Refuge, functions smoothly.
The Admin Project Support Worker will:
A degree of flexibility with regard to both working hours and practices is required in order to meet deadlines/timescales.
Donations Coordinator - 30hrs per week - closing date for applications is 5th June at 5pm
To coordinate donations and ensure that service users have an adequate supply of essential items during these challenging times. Working 30 hours per week which may include some weekends and evenings, you will be based at one of our refuges. You will work closely with our staff to support service users and maximise the collection and distribution of essential items.
We are looking for someone who is organised, can work on their own initiative, has access to transport and shares our dedication for ensuring that any victim of domestic abuse and their children receive the support they need.
Temp until 31st October. Possible extension dependent on funding.
Housekeeper x 1 - 25hrs per week permanent
Housekeeper x 1 - 20hrs per week permanent (additional 5 hours to be reviewed in Jan 2021)
To ensure the Refuge, including the external environment, is cleaned and maintained to hygiene and safety standards.
You will work across the different refuge accommodations run by Women's Aid Leicestershire to provide support to refuge colleagues to enable them to accommodate higher support and complex needs including mental health, drug and alcohol use/dependencies and substance use.
You will link in with Project partners and work with external agencies and community based organisations, developing links and positive working relationships with agencies.
You will assist in safety and support planning for residents.
