This video is an introduction to the services of Women's Aid Leicestershire ltd.
Women's aid has been acting against domestic abuse since 1974. Building on that past the charity is now able to provide modern well equipped refuges that offer safe accommodation and the tools for women to take control of their own lives.
It also provides children's services and community outreach service to support women who are not living in a refuge.

Male Victims - ADAM Project
The Adam Project offers free, confidential support for men who are experiencing or who are at risk from domestic abuse. Support is offered by an Outreach Worker on an individual basis, face to face or by phone/email. Information and advocacy can be provided on issues such as Relationship breakdown,Safety planning,Housing options,Benefits,Legal issues,Budgeting,Tenancy sustainment,Signposting and referrals to other Agencies
