Project Support Worker  

Act as first point of contact for referrals into the Project and ongoing monitoring and collation of data together with supporting the delivery of a high quality frontline service to victims of domestic abuse in the Harborough and Melton districts.

20 hours per week

This is a fixed term contract, initially to 31 March 2014 but with a possibility for further extension

NJC Scale 3: £15,725 - £16,830 (pro rata and dependent on experience and qualifications)

Regular evening and weekend work will be required.

Due to the nature of the role this post is open to women only under the Equality Act 2010, Schedule 9, Part 1.

Board Members


We are looking for new members to be on our Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for:-

  •    Setting the strategic direction and overall purpose of WALL. 
  •   Ensuring that services meet operational and contractual objectives.
  •   Ensuring that WALL operates within legal requirements.

There will be a need to attend a modest number of - mostly evening - meetings, for which reasonable travel expenses are paid.

Bank Work          

We are currently looking to recruit Bank Workers who have previous experience of work with vulnerable adults and children.

  • Family Support Worker - Must have experience of community work and work with vulnerable adults.
  • Outreach Worker - Must have experience of community and/or outreach work.
  • Administrative Assistant - Must have experience of administrative work.
  • Childcare/Play Worker - Must have experience of work with children 0-11 years.
  • Trainers - Skilled in developing training materials and training programmes. Must have understanding of domestic violence.

Evening and weekend working is required.
