Board Members.


You will have experience in governance, tendering and procurement, fundraising or HR. Our primary need is for a suitably qualified and experienced person to take on the role of Treasurer.  The Board is responsible for:

          • Setting the strategic direction and overall purpose of WALL. 

  •  Ensuring that services meet operational and contractual objectives.

      • Ensuring that WALL operates within legal requirements.

 You will be encouraged to play an active part in management of the organisation; and there will be a need to attend a modest number of mostly evening meetings, for which reasonable travel expenses are paid.

Bank Work

We are currently looking to recruit Bank Workers for the previous experience of work with vulnerable adults and children.

  • Family Support Worker - Must have experience of community work and work with vulnerable adults.
  • Outreach Worker - Must have experience of community and/or outreach work.
  • Administrative Assistant - Must have experience of administrative work.
  • Childcare/Play Worker - Must have experience of work with children 0-11 years.
  • Trainers - Skilled in developing training materials and training programmes. Must have understanding of domestic violence.

Evening and weekend working is required.
