We aim to empower women and children who have experienced domestic abuse to take control of their lives by providing:

• Safe, temporary accommodation
• Outreach Services to women, with or without children, who require support and who may still be living with the perpetrator in the community
• Children's Services
• Advocacy.

Women's Aid Leicestershire Ltd (WALL) is a non-profit making organisation established in 1974. As an active and fully constituted member of the Women's Aid Federation of England, we believe that women and children have a right to live their lives free from all forms of violence and abuse and that society has a duty to recognize and defend this right.

We are specialists in our field and provide high quality and cost effective services which are run solely by women. Besides our own expertise, we tailor our services based on listening carefully to the needs of survivors. Consequently, the support and services we deliver are what women want and need, which greatly increases their effectiveness.

The Outreach Service is a free and confidential service to support women with or without children living in Leicester who are experiencing, have experienced or who are at risk of experiencing domestic violence.

WALL also provides training to external agencies or groups of individuals on specific issues in relation to domestic abuse and provides volunteer and student placement opportunities.
